PANORAMA Hotel Restaurant Laparade
River Lot
Did you know?
In the Lot & Garonne region there are more medieval Bastides than in any other French department, a total of forty of the five hundred that have been identified.

Our hotel, restaurant and terrace, occupy a commanding position at the entrance to the walled village of Laparade. The bastide village, dating from 1265, when it was called Castelseigneur and renamed Laparade in 1277. Laparade is perched 500 feet above the river Lot (600 feet above sea level) and offers splendid views of the Lot valley and the surrounding countryside.

The Lot & Garonne area is a largely agricultural area specialising in fruit production and local markets in the summer months are colourful with apples, peaches, melons and of course the plums and prunes for which the region is especially renowned. Fresh produce can be enjoyed at our appropriately named Panorama Hotel and Restaurant.

Stéphanie et Frédéric look forward to welcoming you to our newly renovated restaurant which offers traditional French cooking.
